Jano NEEDLE

jano needle

The Jano needle® is a patented two-tipped atraumatic needle which enables a thread to be drawn through the subcutaneous tissues at the desired depth, in any direction and for any distance, without having to make any skin incisions other than that used for entry.

When used together with the Elasticum® thread, the Jano needle® revolutionises current facial rejuvenation procedures. Indeed, elasticum suspensive face-lift can be carried out in 30 to 60 minutes; this procedure is both physiological and natural, requires no blunt tissue dissection, and needs only a few small incisions, which are covered by the hair. After the procedure, the patient needs no visible medication and can return home with a younger face and smooth naso-labial folds. The patient can resume work after a few days or one or two weeks, according to the number of threads that have been implanted. During the elasticum face-lifting procedure the needle executes a to-and-fro movement; as it advances for longer stretches, the Jano needle® turns through 180° each time it partially emerges.

Jano needle® enables corrective intervention to be undertaken on large scars caused by traumas or burns. Moreover, the Jano needle® enables elastic traction to be applied to skin flaps at a distance of 3 or 4 cm from the edge of the wound, without blunt dissection. Distributing the tension at a distance from the suture improves the result of scarring and the elasticity of the thread creates internal skin expansion.
